Twitter Introduces New Facebook-Like Design
Your Twitter page is about to look a whole lot different. The social media network, Twitter, is beginning to roll out a new design with a renovated look. The overhauled layout includes a screen-wide header photo, a new sidebar layout, and a redesigned timeline with a new featured tweet update that allows users can pin a tweet to the top of their page.
The new design does look familiar to its social media competitor, Facebook. In 2013, the company introduced a similar layout with cover photos and a arrangement much alike Twitter’s new update.
Some Twitter users prefer the social media network specifically because it is much different than Facebook, but now with a copycat design, users don’t seem to appreciate the move.
The new Twitter design will be implemented to all users within the next few weeks.
